We provide a large selection of inflatable (gasket) seals that are class 21 CRF 177. 2600 compliant and composed of high strength FDA-approved transparent silicon rubber. In situations when the risk of fabric contamination is unacceptable, inflator seals offer an inflated sealing option.
Like bicycle tubes, inflator seals are shipped relaxed or deflated. In response to air pressure, the seal either rises or expands to touch the sealing face. The seal resumes its relaxed state as soon as the pressure is released. A one-way inflating assembly is included with every seal. Because our inflatable seals are homogeneous throughout, there is a very small risk that they will burst at the recommended pressure and have leak-proof properties at the joint and nozzle.
